Called to Serve

Caleb Daniel Figgins received his mission call on August 4, 2016. He waited 3 very long weeks for it to come. Our favorite mail carrier, Dan Dan the mailman, hand delivered his packet to the door.

Caleb didn't want to open his call in front of a big group of family and friends as seems to be the custom these days. So he packed up and headed into the mountains to be on his own and contemplate while he opened his call. 

After settling in and setting up camp, Caleb didn't wait long to open it up. As soon as he read the call, he knew that that is where he was supposed to go. He was thrilled to be called to New York, New York North, Spanish speaking. 

Within minutes of opening his call, he texted home, too excited not to share. He texted his sister first, then mom and dad. We were all ecstatic with the announcement of his pending adventure.
